Sports Field Availability & Booking Info

Open Season:
Sports fields, diamonds, and pitches are open from April 15 to October 31.

Winter Closure:
Fields are closed from November 1 to April 14 to protect their condition. Please stay off the fields during this time to help keep them healthy and ready for spring, summer, and fall sports.

Dog Policy on Fields

• Fields are on-leash only areas for dogs.
• Owners must pick up after their pets.
  • These fields are used for adult and kids sports and activities where they run, slide, roll, and tackle—leaving waste behind is not only unpleasant, it’s unfair to the community members who use them.

Available Ball Fields

The following ball fields are available for booking:

• Blackburn 1 – 15–18U
• Klahani 1 & 2 – 13U
• Elks 1 & 2 – 11U and 9U
• Canoe Field – Adult and Youth Softball/Fastball
• Blackburn 2 – 15U and under Fastball; 11U and under Baseball

Available Multi-Use Fields

Multi-use fields are suitable for a variety of sport and recreational activities:

• Blackburn 1 & 2
• Little Mountain Fields 1, 2, and 3
  • Uprights available on Little Mountain Fields 2 and 3
  • Lights available on Little Mountain Field 2
• Downtown Fields 1 & 2
• Jackson Field
  • Uprights available

Batting Cage

The following Batting Cages are available for booking:

• Klahani Batting Cage

Please Note:

• Users must bring all their own equipment

Cricket Pitch

The following Cricket Pitch is available for booking:

• Down Town Cricket Pitch

Rental Rates and Details

Rental Fee for all multi use grass fields, ball diamonds, cages and pitches

• $42.29 per hour
• $253.74 for full-day rental (6+ hours)

Optional on Little Mountain Field 2

• Lights: $15.30 per hour

Synthetic Turf Field

The following Synthetic Turf Field is available for booking:

• Blackburn 3

Rental Fee:

• $75.00 per hour
• $450.00 for full-day rental

If you are a youth or adult sports association, please inquire about eligibility for applicable rates.

Rental Details

Booking Requirements:

• Minimum booking: 1 hour
• Insurance is required and can be purchased independently or  through: https://www.eventpolicy.com

Included with Rental:

• Use of the field only

Please Note:

• All surrounding park areas remain open to the public
• We cannot guarantee noise levels, activity levels, or overall park usage during your booking

Important Booking Information

• Please ensure your booking time includes any setup and takedown required
• Field availability is subject to scheduling and maintenance requirements

• Some field rental requests may require approval from City staff and/or City Council
