The City of Salmon Arm is seeking applications for the position of Lifeguard I. Under the direction of the Aquatic Supervisor, this position is responsible for lifeguarding and instructing aquatic programs, supervises part time staff on shift and enforces facility use rules. The Lifeguard Instructor I also performs a variety of operational, instructional, janitorial and minor maintenance tasks.
Required qualifications include: National Lifeguard, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, LSS Instructor, Aquafit Fitness Instructor and Standard First Aid / CPR-C. Other qualifications and a detailed job description can be found on the City’s website www.salmonarm.ca .

The City of Salmon Arm is currently seeking Part Time Lifeguards at the SASCU Recreation Centre. These positions are part-time (including evening and weekend shifts). Applicants must hold a National Lifeguard (NL), CPR Level C and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) award.
